Rabindra festival was celebrated in Rabindra University in a colorful arrangement. The program was organized at Rabindra Kanchari House auditorium on Wednesday, May 31 at 2.30 pm. Honorable Minister of Education of the People's Republic of Bangladesh Dr. Dipu Moni MP inaugurated the event as the chief guest. The event was presided over by Professor Dr. Md. Shah Azam, Honorable Vice-Chancellor of Rabindra University . At that time, Honorable Minister of Education Dr. Dipu Moni MP and the university's Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Md. Shah Azam unveiled the book ' Gourober Bangladesh: Sheikh Mujib and Sheikh Hasina ' edited by Professor Dr. Md. Shah Azam.
In the speech of the chief guest, the Hon'ble Education Minister has said that the Vice-Chancellor of Rabindra University is taking many initiatives, hopefully the DPP will be considered in ECNEC soon. She had said that may the future progress of this university which is established in the name of Rabindranath Tagore, be beautiful and may the dream of fulfilling the purpose of which Prime Minister of the People's Republic of Bangladesh, Bangabandhu's daughter, Sheikh Hasina established this university be successful. The Minister of Education concluded his speech by wishing all the teachers, students, officers and employees of the university well.
