Biography

Dr. S. M. Hassan Talukder, former Chairman of the Dhaka University Law Department, holds an LL.B., LL.M. M.Phil. (1st part) and Ph.D. in Law. He also holds B.S.S.(Hons.) and M.S.S in Social Welfare. As Professor of Law, his research mainly focuses on constitutional law, administrative law and law of property. Dr. Hassan has now 14 law books and 07 law articles in his credit. His areas of expertise are administrative law, constitutional law, law of contract, labour law, and law of property. Apart from academic activities, Dr. Hassan is actively engaged in various social welfare organisations in Bangladesh.
